My 11-year-old has been dancing here since she was 4. She’s had/has amazing teachers and has learned so much. I definitely would recommend coming to Jensen’s and checking out their classes. They have classes for all ages.

Family oriented local dance studio!!

This studio is part of the non-profit dance education organization Dance Masters of America, specifically Dance Masters of California Ch. 13.

Since 2021, our family has enjoyed both the children and adult classes.

From dance to acro to intro theater, students from all ages gain confidence, body awareness, and time management skills from the Jensen teachers. I especially love how the older students reinvest their time volunteering with the little ones as they develop.

And the staff and other families at Jensen are welcoming and informative when questions arise.

There are opportunities to perform at community events, local competitions, and during the end of the season recital.

We plan to take classes from Jensens Performing Arts for many more years to come!

We have been going to JPA for almost 4 years. The entire staff is great! The teachers are well experienced and their dedication to teaching the dancers is above and beyond. JPA is a staple in Milpitas with many opportunities to perform year round at events within our community. JPA teaches our kids to be brave and confident! Highly recommended the dance studio!

My kids love dancing here! All the teachers we have had (Mandy, Amanda, Sumi, Charles, Joanna) have been excellent. They are not only good dance teachers, but they are very good with small kids. It's an encouraging and fun environment and not too stressful.

Biography

Anthony Charles T. Solomon started dancing at the age of 4 at his local studio in San Jose. In 1998 Charles got the opportunity from his teacher and mentor, Joy Sinnott, to become an assistant teacher, and in 2001 became a full-fledged teacher at his studio. In 2007 he tested and became a member of Dance Masters of California chapter 13 and Dance Masters of America. Charles’ choreographic credits include, Lincoln HS Dance Dept., St. Francis High School Musicals, Piedmont Hills High School Musicals, Willow Glen High School Dance Team and the CSUMB Dance Team. He has also done choreography for many quinceaneras, cotillions and flash mobs, including those of PHHS Faculty and students, Saratoga Chamber of Commerce Classic Cool Car Show, and the American Cancer Society. Charles has also choreographed many award winning routines on the Regional and National level and has also received special judges awards. He has also received the Grant Gray award two times for best new choreography at De Anza College. He is proficient in teaching many levels in the subjects of Ballet, Tap, Jazz, Lyrical, Contemporary and Hip Hop. He now works as a teacher at the Willow Glen Elementary after school program where he has started a dance program for children TK – 5th grade. He is also the Co-Founder and Creative Director of the Dynamics Performance Team. Recently Charles and the team celebrated their 15th season. In honor of this, he and the team received a special Congressional recognition from Ro Khanna and a commendation from the U.S. Senator Dianne Feinstein for their ongoing dedication to celebrating the performing arts. Charles is excited to now be a part of the JPA family and be able to work with his mentors Miss Patty and Miss Tina. Charles hopes to spread the Love and Joy of dance to whoever he is teaching.
