My 11-year-old has been dancing here since she was 4. She’s had/has amazing teachers and has learned so much. I definitely would recommend coming to Jensen’s and checking out their classes. They have classes for all ages.

Family oriented local dance studio!!

This studio is part of the non-profit dance education organization Dance Masters of America, specifically Dance Masters of California Ch. 13.

Since 2021, our family has enjoyed both the children and adult classes.

From dance to acro to intro theater, students from all ages gain confidence, body awareness, and time management skills from the Jensen teachers. I especially love how the older students reinvest their time volunteering with the little ones as they develop.

And the staff and other families at Jensen are welcoming and informative when questions arise.

There are opportunities to perform at community events, local competitions, and during the end of the season recital.

We plan to take classes from Jensens Performing Arts for many more years to come!

We have been going to JPA for almost 4 years. The entire staff is great! The teachers are well experienced and their dedication to teaching the dancers is above and beyond. JPA is a staple in Milpitas with many opportunities to perform year round at events within our community. JPA teaches our kids to be brave and confident! Highly recommended the dance studio!

My kids love dancing here! All the teachers we have had (Mandy, Amanda, Sumi, Charles, Joanna) have been excellent. They are not only good dance teachers, but they are very good with small kids. It's an encouraging and fun environment and not too stressful.

Biography

I started dancing at Jensen’s Performing Arts when I was 3 years old. During my time at JPA, I was a member of TNTs, the Ballet Competition Team and the Fancy Dancers. I attended Lincoln High School in San Jose, CA where I was a member of the award-winning dance team, the Lincoln Convertibles. Upon graduating from high school in 2007, I became certified to teach ballet through Dance Masters of California, Chapter 13.

I later graduated summa cum laude from SUNY Buffalo with a BFA in Dance. Throughout my training, I have studied Ballet, Pointe, Modern, Contemporary, Jazz, Tap, Improvisation and Acrobatics. In 2012, I traveled to Israel and danced in the MASA Dance Journey program with the Kibbutz Contemporary Dance Company. After my experience in Israel, I danced with various companies including World Dance Fusion in San Francisco, CA, Keshet Dance Company in Albuquerque, NM, and am now dancing with Montage Contemporary Company here in Santa Clara, CA.

I am very excited to be teaching again at my home studio where I can pass on my knowledge and love for dance to future generations.
