To join the Fancy Dancers Advanced Training team, dancers must meet specific prerequisites designed to prepare them for the demands of high-level performances. Dancers must be at least 10 years old, have a strong background in ballet, jazz, and tap, and pass an audition to assess technique, performance skills, and teamwork. Each year, returning dancers must re-audition, ensuring that the team remains composed of committed, high-caliber performers. Those accepted commit to a full season of rehearsals, performances, and travel opportunities, proudly representing Milpitas both locally and abroad.
Requirement(s):
- *Min. 10 Years Old (in the year of auditioning).
- *The Artistic Director determines the upper age limit.
Experience:
- *Must have a solid background in tap, jazz, and ballet.
- *Recommendation: Mininum 4 years of dance training.
- *Must audition before a panel of judges (who are chosen by the Artistic Director). Each year, you will need to re-audition.
- *(For minors) Submit parent's or legal guardian's written consent.
- *Submit a letter of acceptance to the Artistic Director.

We have been going to JPA for almost 4 years. The entire staff is great! The teachers are well experienced and their dedication to teaching the dancers is above and beyond. JPA is a staple in Milpitas with many opportunities to perform year round at events within our community. JPA teaches our kids to be brave and confident! Highly recommended the dance studio!
