Studio Rules and Information Tuition 2008-2009

Studio Guidelines All students are encouraged to wear appropriate dance attire to class: A dancer that looks like a dancer, dances like a dancer.
Girls:
	Little Stars - Leotard, tights, jazz pants, etc. White tap shoes, white ballet shoes.
	Tap and Ballet Combination - Leotard, tights, jazz pants, etc. White tap shoes, white ballet shoes.
	Tap, Ballet, Jazz Combination - Leotard, tights, jazz pants, etc. White tap shoes, white ballet shoes.
	Tap and Jazz Combination - Leotard, tights, jazz pants, etc. Black tap shoes, black jazz shoes.
	Jazz - Leotard, jazz pants, etc. Black jazz shoes.
	Tap - Leotard, etc. Tap shoes.
	Ballet Academy - plain leotard, pink tights, pink ballet shoes. Hair should be pulled back and away from your face, a bun is preferred.
	Gym Class - Leotard, gym shoes optional, no tights.
	Hip Hop - Loose fitting comfortable clothing, black Jazz shoes
Boys:
	All Classes - shorts and a t-shirt, jazz pants, sweats, etc. Tap, ballet, jazz and gym shoes are to be black.

Studio Regulation Attire: black logo leotard and white or pink tights. Attire is not required for every class, but is strongly encouraged to get the most from class!

All dance apparel can be purchased at the Dancewear House, located in the studio lobby. Please note that The Dancewear House phone number is 408-262-9216. Hours are Mon-Thurs. 3:30-7:30 and Sat. 9:30-12:30.

Studio Rules and Information
All dancers coming to and going from the studio should wear a cover-up. This is for the protection of the dancer!
Only dancers are allowed on the dance floors. Parents are welcome to observe through the observation windows.
While parents observe, we ask the younger siblings remain at home. This allows you to give your dancer your undivided attention.
If you need to pick up your child early, or wish to speak with an instructor, please check in at the office.
Unattended siblings are not allowed in the studio. Please do not drop them off if they are not dancing. We can't be responsible for non-dancing children!
There is no food or drinks allowed in the studios or lobby. Sorry, the studio kitchen is for studio staff only!
We ask that illness be the only reason for missed class. It is necessary for every dancer to have good attendance in order to progress and develop as a dancer. If your child is going to be absent, please notify the studio.
Schedules are rigid, please deliver and pick up students on time. Remember, we go home at night too!

Tuition 2008-2009
2008-2009 season tuition is based on a yearly fee which is divided into eleven equal payments, September through July. All tuition is due and payable at the first class of each month. A $15.00 late fee will automatically be added to all tuition and balances not paid by the 10th of each month. Statements are only sent to delinquent accounts. Automatic checking account withdrawal and/or automatic credit card payment is our preferred method of payment.

There will be no refunds for missed classes. Make-up classes will be at the discretion of the instructor, there are no tuition reductions for students that go out of town or become ill. If you wish to hold your place in class, tuition should be paid. There is a yearly enrollment fee of $10.00 per returning student and is billed each September or upon enrollment. The $10.00 fee must be paid prior to summer recital. There is a one time $15.00 student registration fee for all new students.

Costume fees for our annual recital are due in January and are non-refundable.
The annual recital fee is due in April and is non-refundable.

Family fee schedule - based on yearly fee which is divided into 11 monthly payments.

First 1 Hour Class	$58.00 per month
Second 45 minutes Class	Additional $46.00 per month
Second 1 Hour Class	Additional $48.00 per month
Third 1 Hour Class	Additional $44.00 per month
Fourth 1 Hour Class	Additional $38.00 per month
Each Additional Class	Additional $28.00 per month
Private Dance	$30.00 per half hour
Semi Private Class	$20.00 per half hour
Tutoring	$18.00 per half hour
Please note classes with fewer than 6 students may be reduced in time with no reduction in the monthly fee. For example, a one hour class with 5 dancers may be reduced to 45 minutes and the one hour fee will be charged.
