Hello Jensen Dancers and families!

I am Miss Mandy - assistant director of Jpa! I would like to begin this important message by wishing everyone health and safety while we continue sheltering at home. We want you to know that all the teachers and staff here at Jensen’s miss our students and hope that soon we will be back at the studio dancing together!

It is with this in mind,   we are happy to announce we will be bringing all  our classes back within an online/virtual format  starting May 1st.

We truly appreciate those of you who joined us with our online classes for the month of April as we worked out the bugs with going online.  We hope you also enjoyed having the opportunity to continue to take classes at such a reduced rate!

As our community, as a whole, is moving forward with restarting and creating some normalcy in our lives, we at Jensen’s will be moving forward with our spring classes.  Our dancers will be able to return to a complete schedule.  Whether you take just once a week or have several classes, we will be teaching class as usual, just online!

Unfortunately, our Acro classes will not be able to be taught online.  We feel that these classes are not conducive to online learning as there is a greater chance of injury.  Therefore, we will be putting our Acro/Gym classes on hold for May and June and refunding tuition and applicable recital costume and performance fees for these classes.

We are still committed to providing our families and dancers with a year-end performance opportunity.  We are working closely with local officials on what type of performance we will be allowed to have. We will keep you informed as we are given more information on this, and the details of resuming our physical studio.

We will be collecting, as usual, our normal tuition rate for May.  As you all know, June was paid when you registered for this year’s classes.  If you have already opted not to join us for recital this year, your last month will be May.

We understand that many of you opted out of recital due to summer travel plans which will probably be cancelled. You are more than welcome to continue through June.  You will need to notify us of your request and pay for May as June will become your last month of the season.  We hope this will allow all our dancers to continue enjoying classes.

In a couple of days, we will begin sending out your personal links to classes and a link to your class resource folder. Please do not share these links as they are set-up personally for you.   Your resource folder will be filled with the notes of the dances we are teaching, music to practice with as well as additional material and ideas to make your dance at home experience the best it can be!

During the months of May and June we will be offering additional complimentary fun stuff for our families to enjoy as we wait for the “all clear” announcement from our community officials!

We want to thank all of you for staying with us during this difficult and unprecedented time. WE TOGETHER will continue to enjoy and keep DANCE in our lives!  Watch your email for further details!  See you in class starting Friday May 1st! Check your parent portal if you have forgotten your schedule or contact us and we can send you an updated schedule.

As always, if you have any questions, please do not hesitate to contact us at jpadance@yahoo.com or call us during studio hours M-F 4pm-8pm or Sat. 9:30am-12pm at 408-262-0770.

Thanks you and happy Dancing!
